PHDCCI SHE Forum, Chandigarh, in association with Food Corporation of India organised a yoga session on the occasion of 11th International Yoga Day today at PHD House, Chandigarh.

In a press release, Pooja Nayar, Chair-Chandigarh, PHDCCI SHE Forum, said, “This year marks the 11th International Day of Yoga with the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health. As we mark this global occasion, we should aim to embrace wellness not just as a one-day activity, but as a lifestyle choice.”

Certified yoga instructors Janak Magotra, Bhupinder Verma and Sashi Bansal conducted the session. They demonstrated various yoga asanas during the programme and explained how yoga promotes physical fitness, mental peace and muscle flexibility.

The event saw active participation from government officials, industry members and yoga enthusiasts.
