The Sector 26 crime branch of the Panchkula police today claimed to have nabbed a mobile snatcher.

The suspect has been identified as Mintu Kumar, a resident of Chorma village in Motihari district of Bihar and presently residing at Amardas Colony in Rajpura.

In her complaint to the police, Moni, a resident of Mauli Jagran, had stated that she worked as a cook in Sector 9, Panchkula. She said she was on her way to work on November 25 when two youths came on a motorcycle from behind and snatched her mobile phone.

A case under Section 379-A of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the two unidentified persons at the Sector 5 police station.
