For the smooth conduct of the preliminary examination of the Haryana Civil Services and Allied Services, the local police have ordered coaching centres and photocopying centres to remain shut from 6 am to 6 pm tomorrow.

Police Commissioner Hanif Qureshi said legal action would be taken under Section 188 of the IPC against those found violating the order.

Qureshi and Deputy Commissioner of Police Surinder Pal Singh visited the examination centres today. The Police Commissioner said any negligence would not be tolerated in the HCS examination and the gathering of five or more persons within a radius of 200 meters around the examination centres was prohibited. He said Section 144 had been imposed and parking of vehicles would not be allowed within 500 metres from an examination centre.
