Bringing laurels to Mohali, Dr Sanjana Saholi, a child specialist at the Civil Hospital here, has been honoured with the Pioneer of Excellence Award at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, during Pioneer of Medical Sciences Conclave. The award has been bestowed upon her by Union Health Minister JP Nadda for rendering exceptional services in paediatrics and community health.

The national-level conclave was organised jointly by the SRM Foundation and Sarv Kalyan Kari Trust in which eminent medical professionals, policy makers and experts from all over the country took part. Dr Saholi belongs to Malout in Sri Muktsar Sahib district and is married at Shehna village in Barnala district.
