Panchkula-based endurance runner Amit Singla completed Spartathlon 2025 — one of the toughest ultra-marathons, covering a distance of 246 km from Athens to Sparta.

Of the more than 400 international participants, only half managed to finish the race. Singla’s completion of the race now places him among the only 11 Indians ever to achieve this rare feat in Spartathlon.

“This race was not just about endurance, but about resilience and belief. Carrying the Indian flag at the finish line was the proudest moment of my life,” he said.
