A special cordon and search operation (CASO) was carried out in the Dera Bassi subdivision on Sunday.

Under the supervision of DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar, police teams led by Inspector Sumit Mor (SHO, Dera Bassi), Inspector Ranvir Singh (SHO, Lalru), and ASI Charanjit Singh (Incharge, Mubarikpur police post) conducted intensive checking and raids at Deha Basti, Mubarikpur, under the jurisdiction of Dera Bassi police station.

During the operation, seven suspected persons were detained and six motorcycles were impounded.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
