Kataria said that the increasing pollution was becoming a big challenge for the whole country. To deal with it, everyone would have to make efforts. He said it was the responsibility of all to protect the environment. “Nature and construction should be linked together. We should take care of the environment and natural resources while constructing the buildings,” he said.

The Administrator said in the rapidly growing urbanisation, the importance of architecture was increasing, but environmental protection was lagging behind.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a vision to make India “Atam Nirbhar Bharat” by 2047. The role of institutions like PHDCCI was important in this architecture work, he said, adding that it was the commendable effort of the PHDCCI to bring consumers and producers under one roof.

The exhibition is organised with the collaboration of Indian Institute of Architects, the Fire and Security Association of India, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, HAREDA, UHBVN, DHBVN, Startup Punjab, Network of People for Construction and Industrial Business Owners Association.
