Haryana’s Pooja Gupta, who is working in Chandigarh, has bagged silver medal in the 1st Boccia Purple Fest – Federation Cup 2025 held in Goa. She won the silver medal in the BC4 individual and the gold in BC4 pairs.

The meet ran alongside Purple Fest and drew leading para-athletes from across India, giving the BC classes a national-level, multi-day competition platform.

Pooja advanced through a tight field to secure BC4 silver. She then closed the meet with a BC4 pairs gold, showcasing clean end control, strong communication, and consistency under pressure. The double-medal finish underscores her status as one of India’s most reliable BC4 performers.

Pooja credited structured preparation, match simulation blocks and team coordination for the pairs title. In past, she had won individual bronze in the World Boccia Challenger, Manama, and represented the nation in the Para Asian Games in China, World Boccia Challengers in Hong Kong; Poland and Italy.
