Poshan Pakhwada — a food festival aimed at generating awareness regarding nutrition through preparation of delicacies — was celebrated at Government Model High School, Mauli Colony. The school teachers participated in the festival by preparing nutritious food. Prabha Bhainsoda, special training teacher at the school, said the entire effort was aimed at ensuring holistic physical, cognitive and emotional development of children.

She said the stress was on improving the nutrition and health status of children and adolescent girls with the aim of tackling the problem of under-nutrition, anemia and other health-related issues in children. —
