Amid warnings of a possible third wave of Covid-19, Mohali Civil Surgeon Dr Adarshpal Kaur said the District Health Department, with the cooperation of the district administration, was fully prepared to deal with any such crisis in future.

Dr Adarshpal Kaur said: “Though the number of positive cases has come down drastically, the second wave is not over yet. However, if the third wave comes, we all need to be fully prepared to face it”.

The Civil Surgeon said every person should get the vaccine without wasting time. Dr Adarshpal said it was important to take precautions even after vaccination. — TNS
