Chandigarh: With the aim of developing teaching and research skills of faculty members, a six-day programme of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Indian Society of technical Education (ISTE), was inaugurated at Aryans Business School. The theme of this online programme was “Importance of business ethics”. Dr AK Vashisht, Professor, University Business School, Panjab University, was the chief guest, while Dr Chandarhas Handa, executive committee member, ISTE, was the guest of honour on the occasion. Dev Samaj College gets ‘A’ grade

Chandigarh: Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), Sector 45, has been re-accredited with ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has been was awarded ‘A’ grade for the third time consecutively. Session on menstrual hygiene mgmt

Chandigarh: A workshop on “Menstrual health and hygiene management” for hostel cleaners was jointly organised by Mata Gujri Hall Girls Hostel No. 1 and Luxmi Bai Hall Girls Hostel No. 2, Panjab University, in collaboration with the Centre of Social Work. The workshop was conducted by Ishita Choudhary, alumna of the Centre for Social Work, a certified trainer in menstrual hygiene management. TNS

Faculty training programme ends

Chandigarh: The one-week virtual faculty training programme of the UGC Networking Resource Centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences on the theme “Emerging trends and alternatives in pharmacological research’’ conducted by University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, concluded here on Saturday. Community Radio anniversary

Gharuan: Chandigarh University’s community radio ‘Radio Punjab 90.0’ celebrated its first anniversary with gaiety and fanfare at its broadcasting office on the Gharuan campus of the university. The Pro-Chancellor, Chandigarh University, Dr RS Bawa, the station head, Radio Punjab 90.0, Nidhi Sharma, and other members were present on the occasion.
