A few days ago, UT Adviser Manoj Parida, through the social media, had called upon philanthropists to come forward to help the needy and underprivileged people in society during the prevailing crisis in wake of the pandemic.

Kamal Gupta, president of the association, said the Administration was facing shortage of gas cylinders with several NGOs and social organisations starting their Covid care centres, but without proper supply of oxygen.

Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, chairman of the association, said it was planning to organise vaccination camps with the help of the Administration in different parts of the city to help the residents in getting vaccinated.
