The Chandigarh Police have registered two cases against Jarnail Singh Bajwa, developer of Sunny Enclave, Kharar, for not appearing before the local court. Bajwa is also managing director of Bajwa Developers Limited.

According to the police, Bajwa, who is a proclaimed offender (PO), did not appear before the court in pursuance of issuance of the proclamation, following which action was taken against him.

Two FIRs under Section 174A, IPC, have been registered against Bajwa at the Sector 36 police station.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
