The Punjab School Education Board suspended Senior Assistant Parvinder Singh along with helpers at the Certificate Branch Ranjit Singh and Rajinder Singh after huge flaws were found in the verification of the certificates related to the Punjab Pharmacy Council and tampering with records.

Jagtar Singh, a daily wage earner, has been shifted to the Regional Office at Rupnagar, along with the issuance of show cause notice to the Certificate Branch.

The Board has recommended the registration of a Prevention of Corruption Act case in the matter.

The irregularities came to the fore during an investigation related to the verification of two certificates sent for verification by the Punjab Pharmacy Council on April 4.
