Panjab University has been placed in the 301-350 bracket in the QS Asia Rankings 2022, released today.

The National University of Singapore topped the list, while Tsinghua University and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, have been placed second and third, respectively.

As many as 18 Indian institutes are among the top 200 institutes in Asia, with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay leading at 42nd place.

Chandigarh University has become the youngest university of Asia to make it to QS Asia University Rankings. It placed in the 271-280 band and features among the top 1.7 per cent universities across Asia.

Chandigarh University has also been ranked seventh among the private universities of India in the QS Asia Rankings and fifth in north India.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is an independent and prestigious global ranking organisation for educational institutions. The rankings were declared during an online function.
