“The present government must remember the promises it had made to the people of Punjab and must address the issues of peasants, labour and students. If it keeps resorting to such measures, it will have to bear consequences like the BJP had in the past,” said Raman, a member of the front. Students leaders from various organisations, including Manoj Lubana from Youth Congress, Sunny Mehta of Congress and Gagandeep of Panjabnama, addressed the gathering.
