Chandigarh, April 18

Prof RK Singla, Dean (Research), Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof Sukhwinder Singh, Director, Computer Centre, and Prof Harish Kumar, UIET, discussed and evaluated various web conferencing software, which could be used instead of Zoom web conferencing application.

They recommended Cisco WebEx to be used in place of Zoom to conduct various web conferences and workshops at Panjab University (PU). The manual on “How to make use of Webex-Cisco platform for online teaching/meetings”, prepared by Dr Vishal Sharma, coordinator, Swayam, PU, is available on the university website.
