Chandigarh, May 11

Following University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, the Panjab University formed various grievance cells related to Covid-19 pandemic.

The members are suggested to be constituted for consideration includes, DSW (chairman), DSW (women), Dean Research, Controller of Examinations, DCDC, Rajiv Puri (Physics), Professor Harish Kumar (UIET), Naresh Kumar (UIET warden), Kavita Taneja (Computer Science warden) and KG Grover, Assistant Registrar (Examinations) Convener.

The dedicated helpline numbers and email id covid19help@pu.ac.in hs been formed for queries related to examinations and admissions. For queries regarding examinations– KG Grover (AR Examination) and Deepak Kaushik (AR Secrecy) and for admissions– Deepak Singh Rana (DUI Office) and Devinder Singh Rawat (DUI Office)– have been designated.

A task force and advisory group has been constituted for monitoring various concerns of students, teachers and the university. Apart from this all the information is being regularly posted through the social media platform of the PU like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Also a helpline number has been launched for psychological counselling of students, teachers or any staff by the Dean Alumni Relations and Psychology department.
