The Punjab Urban Housing Department (PUDA) and six other regional development authorities began the e-auction of residential, commercial, chunk and institutional properties worth Rs 2,000 crore across the state on Friday.

The auction will take place till September 16.

Properties are available in 21 cities, including Mohali, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Batala and Gurdaspur. The allotment of these sites will be on 10 percent payment. Possession will be given on 25 percent payment.
