Therefore, a detailed and thorough investigation is required to unravel the entire conspiracy and to recover the keys of the motorcycle as well as arms, ammunition and explosives which might be in his exclusive knowledge.

The NIA is investigating the grenade attack of Sector 10, Chandigarh.

The NIA has already filed charge-sheet in the Chandigarh grenade attack case as per which US-based gangster-turned-terrorist Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Passia and Pakistan-based terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda planned the attack in Chandigarh through Rohan Masih and Vishal Masih.

NIA claimed that Rohan Masih and Vishal allegedly hurled a hand grenade at the house in Sector 10, Chandigarh, at the behest of Passia, and Rinda.

Both accused hurled the grenade while sitting in an auto-rickshaw on September 9, 2024.

The NIA had sent mobiles data of the accused to the Central Forensic and Science Lab (CFSL) whose investigation report revealed that these accused had links with Pakistan-based terrorists.

Initially, the Chandigarh Police carried out the investigation in the Chandigarh attack case. Subsequently, the case was transferred to NIA. After hearing of the arguments, the court remanded the accused to police custody till April 9.
