The Punjab government, through PUDA and six other regional development authorities, are set to raise Rs 2,000 crore by auctioning residential, commercial, chunk and institutional sites across the state from September 6 to 16.

Mohali, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Batala and Gurdaspur are among 21 cities where sites will be available.

The allotment will be on 10 percent, and possession on 25 percent payment.
