Punjab Governor to hold public meetings on Wednesday

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria will now hold public hearings every Wednesday at the UT Secretariat, Sector 9, from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

Prior to these hearings, the Administrator will hold a meeting with senior officials of the Administration from 9:30 am to 10 am to review the action taken on matters raised during previous public meetings.

Residents can send their representations at admr-chd@nic.in. Besides, representations can also be submitted in physical form either at the office of the Under Secretary, Punjab Raj Bhawan, or at the office of the Under Secretary, Home Department, UT Secretariat, Sector 9. However, meetings with the Administrator will be held by prior appointment only.

On July 7, the Administrator had directed the MC Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to conduct public hearings thrice a week.
