The Department of Languages, Punjab, on Tuesday said the matric-level exam would be conducted on August 26.

The candidates appearing for exams for various vacancies in the state government departments need to have cleared the matric-level Punjabi exam. Officials at the department said for this purpose, the Punjabi matric-level exam was held four times in a year in March, June, September and December. They said the exam supposed to be held in September would now be held on August 26.

At the same time, the last date to apply for the exam is August 21, fee of Rs2,000 for which would be collected in cash. — TNS
