Meanwhile, RK Singh, a 2004 batch officer, has been transferred to Delhi but has not yet assumed his new post. He continues to oversee duties as the Director General of Police (DGP) in Chandigarh after the transfer of former DGP Surendra Yadav in April. The position of UT DGP is vacant at present.
