During a meeting here, it was decided that in order to enhance transparency, efficiency and ease of access, permissions for staging Ramlila and Dasehra will be granted only through the designated online portal. Directions were issued to make the service portal, serviceonline.gov.in, operational tomorrow.

The DC emphasised that the entire process would function as a single window system, ensuring that applicants were not required to approach any other department for obtaining NOC. No fee will be charged and permissions shall be granted within seven days of the submission of complete documents.
