Ranveer beats Gaurav in black ball shootout

Local challenger Ranveer Duggal overpowered Gaurav Garg in a black ball shootout after the scores remained tied 3-3 during the ongoing HeyBall International Open Pool Tournament at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.

Duggal was trailing 1-3 before recording a comeback and levelled the scores 3-3.

In some one-sided matches, Anand Raghuvanshi defeated Imran Khan and Abhishek Dutta ousted Manmeet Bhatia by identical scores of 5-0, while Mohsin Acchava defeated Sudarshan Shivram 5-1. Anupama Ramachandran also recorded a shootout win after playing 4-4 draw in the full frame against Kamalpreet Singh, while Alok Kumar defeated Kunal Manchanda in a similar fashion after a 3-3 draw.

Viren Sharma defeated Angadpreet Singh 5-1 and in the winner bracket David Anderson defeated Mosauvir Shahroz 5-1.

Sundeep Gulati also moved into the next round by defeating Ankur Nanda 5-2, followed by Natasha Chethan recording an identical win over Prateek Jain 5-2. Chetan Chabda easily defeated Parvesh Jaidka 4-2, and Sumit Talwar outplayed Harish Kumar 5-3. Ketan Sabhachandani and Rajat Khaneja recorded an identical 5-4 win over Divya Sharma and Pushpender Singh, respectively, while P Keerthana defeated Piyush Kushwaha 4-3. Younis Nazir Kuchey defeated Sachin in a shootout finish, and Faisal Khan defeated Karthik BC 5-4.
