On the opening day of the 1st Chandigarh State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, being organised by the Chandigarh Table Tennis Association at the Sector 50 Sports Complex, Rayaan Mann Singh won the boys’ U-11 final by defeating Divit Bansal 13-11, 11-7, 8-11, 11-9.

In the semifinals, Mann had defeated Rudraksh 12-10, 2-11, 11-2, 11-4, and Bansal overpowered Nivaan Saini 12-10, 9-11, 11-7, 12-10. Saini defeated Hetaksh Goyal 11-6, 8-11, 12-10, 11-5, Rudraksh ousted Parvaaz Singh 14-12, 11-9, 11-8, Bansal blanked Aadvik Thakur 11-4, 11-5, 11-6 and Mann blanked Toshaan Tomar 11-5, 11-2, 11-2 in the quarterfinals.

Trishi won the girls’ U-11 final by defeating Avni Gupta 11-6, 11-6, 11-6). In the semis, she defeated Idhika Bansal 11-9, 7-11, 11-8, 11-7 and Avni ousted Tisha Walia 11-7, 10-12, 11-6, 5-11, 11-9. In the quarterfinals, Idhika defeated Irene Kochhar 13-11, 12-10, 11-3, Tisha ousted Khushneet 11-6, 11-5, 11-8, Trishi blanked Mihika Mahajan 11-5, 11-5, 11-7 and Avni defeated Priyanshi 9-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-8.

Ekampreet Singh won the boys’ U-13 final by overpowering tough challenger Mehul Chhabra 12-10, 8-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-8. Chhabra defeated Mehtab Saini 11-6, 8-11, 5-11, 11-9, 11-9 and Ekampreet ousted Nivaan Saini 11-1, 11-3, 11-5 in the semis.

In the quarterfinals, Chhabra defeated Yathaarth Rajoo 11-6, 11-4, 11-8, Ekampreet ousted Hetaksh Goyal 11-5, 11-6, 11-5, Saini defeated Nandan 11-5, 11-8, 11-4 and Nivaan defeated Aabeer Khanisa 10-12, 10-12, 11-9, 11-8, 11-7.

Bhavisha won the girls’ U-13 title by defeating Garvita 11-5, 6-11, 11-3, 11-8. Earlier, in the semis, Bhavisha defeated Trishi 11-8, 6-11, 5-11, 11-2, 11-8 and Garvita overpowered Avni Gupta 11-7, 11-5, 11-9. Bhavisha defeated Idhika Bansal 11-6, 11-7, 11-1, Avni defeated Tisha Walia 11-9, 11-7, 11-7, Trishi ousted Hamreet Kaur 11-5, 11-6, 11-9, and Garvita blanked Ira 11-4, 11-4, 11-4.
