Mohali: The district reported 42 positive cases on Wednesday while 87 patients recovered from coronavirus. Among the fresh cases, a maximum of 29 were reported from Mohali (urban), while four cases were reported from Gharuan, three each from Dhakoli and Lalru, two from Dera Bassi and one from Kharar. The district now has 869 active cases. A total of 209 patients have lost their lives to the virus.

Health Minister discharged

Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu was discharged from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, on Wednesday. The minister had tested positive on October 6. TNS
