Chandigarh: After receiving the government’s node for setting up pooling booths, the Panjab University Senate election of registered graduate constituency is likely to be held on September 26, said Vikram Nayyar, Registrar-cum-Returning Officer. The date has been issued in anticipation of the approval of the Vice-President of India and Chancellor, PU, and also subject to approval of Uttrakhand which is among one of the states where election of this constituency is to be held while adhering to the Covid-19 protocols, he said.
