Former treasurer of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Rohit Jain has challenged Minister of State for Transport and Ambala City MLA Aseem Goel to release a White Paper on the projects hanging fire in the constituency.

Jain alleged, “Goel has been making claims regarding the development projects of Ambala City. Various projects were announced in the past nearly 10 years, but a majority of them are hanging fire due to wrong intentions and corrupt practices. The beautification of historic Navrang Rai pond and Mahavir Park, the upgrading of Ambala City Civil Hospital, construction of Mini Secretariat and a veterinary college and hospital have been pending.”

“Similarly, the work on the Bal Bhawan project is going on at a snail’s pace. The projects of multi-level parking and an auditorium in Ambala City and a bus stand in Jansui village are yet to start. Instead of making fresh announcements, the minister should release a White Paper on the pending projects first. Despite spending crores, the constituency is yet to see any development,” he added.
