Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains would unfurl the Tricolour on Republic Day during the district-level celebrations at Shaheed Major Harminderpal Singh Government College here.

The rehearsals will begin on January 22, while the dry run will take place on January 24 in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain and SSP Dr Sandeep Garg.

Contingents of police, Home Guards and NCC cadets would be part of the

R-Day parade.
