Reshuffling in Chandigarh civic body

Chandigarh, July 17

The city municipal corporation has made changes in allotment of branches to its officers after the joining of HCS officer Shashi Vasundhra as Joint Commissioner.

According to the office order, Joint Commissioner Gurinder Singh Sodhi will look after MOH, Swachh Bharat Mission and primary health, accounts and house allotment branch, establishment of groups A, B, C and D of head office (CMC office) and CRU, parking, caretaker, mechanical and legal branches, monitoring cell & coordination cell, grievance and pending references, RTI branch, colony and licensing branch.

Joint Commissioner Isha Kamboj will have fire and emergency services and charge of chief fire officer, enforcement branch, vendor’s cell, National Urban Livelihood Mission, sports and cultural programme and public relations branch.

Joint Commissioner Vasundhra will have sub-office Mani Majra, tax branch, apni mandi and day markets, advertisement control order and booking of community centres/open spaces, estate branch, IT branch, building and planning branch.

Chief Engineer NP Sharma will have establishment of group A officers of engineering wing, except SEs, XENs & SDE, solid waste management and AMRUT.
