The incidents of theft are increasing day by day at Jalvayu Tower, the biggest housing society located in Sector 125 New Sunny Enclave.

Residents said, “The society management is also completely silent about the increasing thefts. There is no committee in the society and the Executive Officer, Kharar, has been appointed as its manager by the SDM.” Recently, a youth stole a bicycle parked outside a house on the third floor in R Block.

An Activa scooter, bicycles and car batteries had also been stolen from the society, said Manu Sharma, a resident, while adding that there were about 350 cameras installed in the society. However, only 150 of these were functional. Since many cameras in parking lots and lifts were not working, the incidents of theft were increasing, the society resident said.
