Raising concerns over delay in projects, residents and Mohali Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi said land was acquired by GMADA in 2014, but till today, PR-6 road construction has not started. The related storm water drainage pipeline has also not been laid, due to which residents face serious hardships every year.

Bedi said, “The PR-6 road passes through Sector 74, Sector 92, and 114-15, and is an important traffic link from Chappar Chiri to Landran Chowk. But the reality is that the road is still to be econstructed. Because of this, heavy traffic jams occur in the area and people’s daily commute has become very difficult.”
