Ridhima Saini beat Arpita Singh 21-4 21-3 and Prisha Sharma defeated Param Preet Kaur 21-18 21-10 in the girls singles (U-15) round of 32 matches on the Day 2 of the Chandigarh State Badminton Championships.
Arsheen Kaur Baidwan ousted Sirat Kaur 13-21 21-18 21-15 and Samaira Arora outplayed Saher Yadav 21-10 21-17 in other matches of the day.
In the girls singles (U-17) round of 16 matches, Vanshika got the better of Ananya Saini 21-6 21-3, Tashvi
Goel trounced Divyanshi 21-8 21-6 and Pratibha Ranga beat Baaruni Chopra 21-17 9-21 21-17. In another match, Aakriti prevailed over Samiksha Senapati 21-15 16-13.
In the boys singles (U-17), round of 32 matches, Uday Rana beat Rohit Sharma 21-9 21-8 and Vihaan slammed Rishab Acharya 21-3 21-9. Vaibhav Giri beat Tejas Dewali in another match. — TNS
