RK Arora, a 1990-batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service, has taken over as the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDA) (Army) of Western Command at Chandigarh today. Prior to this, he was serving as the PCDA (Air Force) in Dehradun.
His earlier assignments include Additional Secretary in the Union Public Service Commission, Finance Manager (Air) in the Acquisition Wing of the Ministry of Defence and Director in the Ministry of Finance. He has also worked as a member (finance) on the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board in Kolkata and as an Internal Financial Adviser at HQ Central Command.
