Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta today inaugurated the work of recarpeting of roads in Budhanpur and Sectors 15 and 16. The works will be carried out at a cost of Rs 82 lakh.

The Speaker, who was accompanied by Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal and MC Commissioner Sachin Gupta, inaugurated the work of road from Budhanpur to Sector 16 and patch work at various locations in wards 3 to 7 at a cost of about Rs 47.12 lakh and that of B-roads in ward 5 at a cost of Rs 34.51 lakh. The works are expected to complete in three months.

He also directed MC officials to start the construction work of a foot overbridge at Budhanpur on priority. The Speaker also asked the officials to ensure that newly repaired toilets in Indira Colony and Rajiv Colony were opened for general public at the earliest.
