Three robbers who struck Maa Luxmi Jewellers, located at Booth no 78 in Sector 8, and attacked its owner Sandeep Verma with a sharp weapon, had to return empty-handed after the owner raised an alarm which make them run immediately.

The suspects fled in an autorickshaw, said the police, quoting preliminary information, adding that they were yet to record the statement of the victim, who is receiving treatment at Civil Hospital in Sector 6.
