Park Hospital here has launched advanced robotic gynae surgery. The hospital has the most advanced Da Vinci surgical robot and the latest 4th generation robotic platform, said Dr Vimal Vibhakar, Medical Director, of the hospital during a press conference here on Thursday.

The robot-assisted arms are found to be more stable, precise and can reach the innermost regions of the body more easily than a human hand. Therefore, this surgery ensures greater accuracy, enhanced motion range and better dexterity to surgeons, said Dr Preeti Jindal, Director of Robotic Gynaecology Surgery.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind.
