Rohit Kumar clinched the top spot in the 18–35 age group of the Chandigarh Half Marathon by clocking 1.13:31 as the city witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of 1,200 runners across the 21 km, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km categories, respectively.

Mohit Kumar and Vishwas Chahar shared the joint second position as both completed the half marathon in 1.12:32. In other half-marathon categories, Rahul Singh secured first place in the 36–45 age group with a time of 1.17:56, while Amandeep Singh dominated the 45–55 category by finishing in 1.32:07. Shyam Singh emerged victorious in the 55 plus age group by clocking 1.48:22.

Among women participants, Shivi Gupta emerged as the overall female champion by completing the course in 1.46:12. The 10 km race also witnessed spirited performances. In the 36–45 age bracket, Nayab Singh (00.42:23), Kuldeep Singh Mann (00.47:19) and Dalbir Singh (00.48:55) bagged the medals. Hari Bath (00.49:57) topped the 46–55 category, while Anil Dhyani (00.54:18) won in the 55 plus group. In the U-35 category, Prunjoy Singh (00.43:05) won the medal.

Among female runners, Ankit Sharma (00.52:55), Nisha Garg (00.51:53) and Anu Sehgal (01.00:46) claimed the first place in the 14–35, 36–45, and 46 categories, respectively.
