Rohtak man gets life term in 3-year-old murder case

While hearing a case of murder that took place near Eco City on June 11, 2020, Additional Sessions Judge Ved Prakash Sirohi sentenced one accused Tarun Kumar, a resident of Jind road, Rohtak district, to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on him.

According to information, June 11, 2020, the body of an unknown person was found near Eco City, Ramgarh. The police and a crime branch team reached the spot and found that an unknown suspect had strangled to death a person and thrown his body near Eco City.

A case was registered under Section 302 of the IPC at the Chandimandir police station.

During further investigation by ASI Rajpal from crime branch, Sector 26, Panchkula, the deceased was identified as Vinod Kumar, alias Bunty. He was strangled to death and his body was mutilated and thrown near the Jaloli village toll plaza.
