Rock Zone captain Mohammed Arslan Khan’s 74-run knock went in vain as his team fell short of Rose Zone’s first-innings total of 338 in the UT Cricket Association Chandigarh Men’s Senior Multi-Day Tournament. Rose Zone was declared the winner on the basis of the first-innings lead.

His brisk 74 off 88 deliveries was studded with 10 boundaries and a six. However, his dismissal triggered a collapse and the rest of the batting lineup failed to build partnerships.

Ramanjeet Singh also added a useful 58 but it wasn’t enough to avoid conceding the lead.
