Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, won the girls’ U-14 final by defeating Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School Civil Lines, Ludhiana (Team A), at the City League final of the ACG Junior NBA programme, a nationwide 3v3 tournament for the top U-14 players across India and the largest school-based basketball programme in the country.

Three teams of boys and girls advanced to the league finals early next year. Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School Civil Lines, Ludhiana (Team B), claimed second position. In the boys’ U-14 event, Nav Bharti Public School, Ludhiana, claimed the top podium position, followed by Kundan Vidya Mandir School Civil Lines, Ludhiana, at second position, and DGSG Public School Team A, Ludhiana, at third.

Jiya Sodhi from Sacred Heart School and Harjeet Singh from Nav Bharti Public School, Ludhiana (U-14 Boys), got the MVP award for their outstanding performance through the Ludhiana leg of the tournament.
