Dera Bassi, December 28

Punjab BSP president Jasveer Singh Garhi and Dera Bassi MLA NK Sharma of the SAD today addressed a joint rally to woo voters at Ramlila Maidan here.

Garhi said people were allegedly fed up of the Congress government in the state and the next government in Punjab would be of the SAD-BSP combine.

Sharma said after the formation of the SAD-BSP government, a sugar mill would be set up in the constituency for farmers. Special employment and training opportunities would be provided to young men and women. Apart from this, underprivileged would be provided houses. “The Congress has never sought votes on the basis of performance, but had come to power by destroying communal harmony,” he alleged.

Talking about the constituency, he claimed that the development of the Dera Bassi constituency took place only during the rule of SAD.

On the Aam Aadmi Party, he said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was talking of building 17,000 hospitals in Punjab but could not build one in Delhi.
