The host team of St Soldier’s School, Sector 28, won the St Soldier Football Tournament by recording a 1-0 win over St John’s School, Sector 26. The only goal of the match was scored by Kartikey in the 27th minute.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu was adjudged the Best Defender, while Jobanpreet was named the Best Goalkeeper. Kartikey was declared the Best Scorer.

In the first semifinal, the hosts overpowered St Joseph’s School, Sector 44, by a five-goal margin. Gurjot opened the scoring by converting a spot-kick in the 16th minute, while Tejas doubled the lead in the 23rd minute. Thereafter, Kartikeya (37th), Sivansh (48th) and Tejas (50th) scored a goal each to complete the tally.
In the second semifinal, the team of St John’s overpowered Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, in tie-breaker (5-4). The match ended 1-1 in the stipulated time. It was the Sector 26 which gained the lead in the 6th minute through Aviraj, but Daksh cancelled the goal in the 29th minute.
