The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) organised the culmination ceremony of its month-long celebration, “Sashakt Bal Mahotsav-2024”, at Judicial Academy, Sector 43.

The month-long celebrations featured various contests on poster making, essay writing, poem recitation, speech, shloka, cartoon making, logo and mascot design on child rights, etc.

The special guest for this programme was Harsuhinder Singh Brar, Director, School Education, UT.

All government and non-government schoolchildren participated in this programme. Those who secured first, second, third and consolation positions in these activities were awarded prizes. Children of Chitkara International School, Sector 25, presented a Rajasthani dance performance.

Commission chairperson Shipra Bansal congratulated all children and motivated them. She said this programme was organised to make children aware of their rights and to empower them. She also formally inaugurated the CCPCR Clubs today, which will now be functional in every school.
