Parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are expected to witness scattered rainfall during the next 36-48 hours, said the Chandigarh Meteorological Department.

According to the Met, subdued monsoon conditions are likely afterwards for subsequent five to seven days with no significant rainfall in the region except occasional thunderstorm activities.

The city today recorded 37.2°C maximum temperature, a degree below normal. The minimum temperature was 26°C, a degree above normal. The next few days will not see any significant change in the maximum and minimum temperatures.
