Dr RS Bawa, Pro-Chancellor, launched an entrance-cum-scholarship test of Chandigarh University (CU) here today. CUCET-2021 offered a chance for students to earn scholarships worth Rs33 crore, said Dr Bawa. “CUCET-2021 is an online examination, for which students can choose their slot and grab 100 per cent academic scholarship in the course of their choice,” Dr Bawa added.

“Students and faculty of the CU have filed more than 1,000 patents during the last four years,” said Dr Bawa.—TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
