The school, in association with SPIC MACAY, hosted a captivating session on ‘Kalaripayattu’, Kerala’s traditional martial art, showcasing its unique combat techniques, indigenous medicinal practices and significance in religious worship. Principal Gulshan Kaur welcommed Rajeev K P and his team of experts, who demonstrated mesmerising feats like chattom (jumping), ottam (running) and marichil (somersault), emphasising mind-body coordination and agility. Approximately 400 students engaged in the productive session.

A free health check-up was conducted for the students by a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Tushar Foundation. Students belonging to the age group of 3-13 years attended the camp. A general check-up was done and a specialist check-up for ENT problems was also conducted.

PMLSD Public School, Chandigarh

The primary wing of the school celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India. Competitions such as ‘Sulekh Pratiyogita’, ‘Kavita Sunao Pratiyogita’ and ‘Kahani Sunao Pratiyogita’ were organised . Principal Monica Sharma distributed certificates to the winners. Amaira won the ‘Talent Trove 2024’ title, during an inter-school fancy dress competition.
