Commanding Officer 2 Haryana Bn NCC Ambala Col Parminder Singh paid a formal visit to the school. Subedaar Joginder Singh, Havaldar Amit, and CFN Blessin accompanied the CO. Col Parminder Singh addressed the students and NCC cadets. He urged them to join the Armed Forces and to be responsible citizens of the country.

The NSS wing of the school marked Van Mahotsav with a tree plantation drive on the school grounds. Morning assemblies organised during the week were marked by themes such as ‘Clean Earth, Green Earth’, ‘Plant more Trees’, etc.

Aravali International School

The school hosted a financial literacy and leadership summit. The summit was centred on tenets of finance and leadership and was spearheaded by ImpleMENTORS, led by Rahul Menon and Garima Rajpal, an academic training institute based in New Delhi. Students from classes 4 to 10 participated in the summit.

Smart Wonders School, Mohali

Class 8b organised a special assembly on the theme ‘Adaptability and Resilience’. The assembly featured a blend of skits, speeches, and musical performances, all crafted to illustrate how adaptability and resilience can help individuals overcome obstacles and thrive in changing environments.

Ankur School, Sector 14, PU campus

The Eco Club organised various events to celebrate Van Mahotsav, such as painting, slogan writing, Nukkad Natak competitions, and a tree plantation drive. The treasurer of the school management committee, Prof Gurmeet Singh, was the chief guest. He praised the efforts of students and teachers. Principal Aruna Dhiman emphasises the importance of such events in raising environmental awareness. The highlight of the celebrations was the honour rendered to the veteran gardener of the school. Other gardeners, too, were felicitated on the occasion, as they were recognised for beautifying the earth with the toil of their hands.
